KING CITY, ON – The Ontario Hockey League announced today Oshawa Generals and 2025 NHL Draft prospect Simon Wang as the OHL Rookie of the Week.
Wang, who began the season with the Rebellion recorded 4 goals and 18 assists for 22 points in 32 games before joining the Generals on a full time bases.
In two games during the Eastern Conference Finals, Wang recorded one assist, a +1 rating and two shots on goal.
The 6-foot-6, 210lb. blueliner was also recently ranked 34th overall on NHL Central Scouting’s Final Draft Rankings ahead of the 2025 NHL Draft.
