King City, ON— The King Rebellion is proud to announce that two members of the Rebellion have been included on the NHL Central Scouting’s Final Draft Rankings for the 2025 NHL Draft scheduled to take place June 27-28 at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
(Haoxi) Simon Wang, who joined the Rebellion ahead of the 2022-23 OJHL season. Was ranked 34th among North American skaters. During his two years with the Rebellion, Wang skated in 70 career games, collecting 4 goals and 25 assists for 29 points. Earlier this season, he was promoted to the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League.
Mikhail Zakharov, who joined the Rebellion ahead of the 2023-24 OJHL. Was ranked 222nd among North American skaters. During his first season with the team, he skated in 56 regular season games, collecting 12 goals and 26 assists for 38 points before adding 1 goal and 4 assists in 5 playoff games. Mikhail was recently selected 103rd overall by the London Knights in the 2025 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.
