KING CITY, ON – The King City Rebellion are proud to announce the signing of 2009-born forward Lachlan Larmand for the upcoming season.

Hailing from Penetang, Ontario, Larmand had a breakout campaign in 2024-25 with the Barrie Colts U16 AAAprogram, where he posted an impressive 71 points (26 goals, 45 assists) across 46 games, while adding just 14 penalty minutes. His strong two-way play, elite hockey IQ, and offensive production earned him recognition across the province — culminating in being drafted in the 4th round (80th overall) by the Brampton Steelheads in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection.

Rebellion General Manager Jay De Gennaro spoke highly of the club’s newest addition:

“We are thrilled to sign a 16-year-old of this caliber. Lachlan’s ability to make plays and make players around him better really stood out to us over the course of the season. He is a great character kid that will make an impact on our team right away. We are looking forward to helping develop Lachlan for the next level.”

The Rebellion are excited to welcome Lachlan Larmand and his family to King City as the organization continues to build a strong foundation for the future.
