Rebellion Add an Assistant Coach and Head Scout to the Team

KING, ON- The King Rebellion are extremely pleased to announce that we have added 2 members to our staff!

We have hired Patrick Piacentini as our Assistant Coach and Kelli O’Connor as our Head Scout.

Patrick “Paddy” Piacentini comes to us, fresh off of a GTHL Championship with the Vaughan Kings U18 AAA team where he served as an assistant coach under Matt Iannetta. After finishing 2nd in the regular season, he helped the Kings through a tough playoff run including a reverse sweep in the final round. Prior to the Kings, he coached with the Toronto Royals Hockey Club and before that, with head coach Mark Joslin with the Toronto Patriots during the 2019-2020 season.

Prior to his coaching career, he played in the OJHL for the Vaughan Vipers and North York Rangers where he earned a Division 1 scholarship to Mercyhurst University. After graduating in 2018, he played his first professional game for the Brampton Beast in the ECHL and then moved to France where he won a Division 1 championship with the Briancon Diables Rouges promoting the team to the top league.

We are excited to have Paddy join our coaching staff as his experience and winning pedigree will be invaluable to our players and team culture.

Kelli will be responsible for scouting players in the Golden Horseshoe area as well as the GTHL, OMHA, Alliance and SCTA leagues at the U16/18 level.

Kelli brings a wealth of experience in having played college hockey. She has also coached at the national and provincial levels overseas.

And most recently Kelli has spent the last several years scouting for numerous Junior level teams as well as Canadian Universities.

Everyone join us in welcoming Patrick and Kelli to #KingNation!
