KING, ON- The Rebellion are proud to announce the acquisition of 2007 forward Adam Smeeton and 2007 Defenceman Ryan Fairbairn from the Haliburton County Huskies in exchange for Luke Hampel.
Both Adam Smeeton and Ryan Fairbairn are 2023 OHL Draft Picks by the North Bay Battalion; Smeeton in Round 5, and Fairbairn in Round 6.
In 17 games with the Huskies and 3 games with the Collingwood Blues, Fairbairn has tallied 3 goals and 3 assists for 6 points in 20 games.
Smeeton has posted 6 goals and 11 assists for 17 points in 28 games this season, and has played 1 game with the Battalion.
The Rebellion would like to thank Luke Hampel for his hard work and dedication with the organization, and wish him nothing but the best of luck in the future.
Both Smeeton and Fairbairn will make their King debuts tonight at home against the Buffalo Jr. Sabres.
