KING, ON- The King Rebellion are extremely pleased to announce the acquisitions of 2004 forward Dalton Kane and 2008 defenceman Jacob Xu from the Trenton Golden Hawks in exchange for Player Development Fees.
Kane, the 6-foot-1 product of New York State played his last 3 seasons in USHS-Prep, before crossing the border and joining the Golden Hawks for the beginning of this season. So far, Kane has notched 7 goals and 10 assists for 17 points in 22 games with the Black and Gold.
Xu, a 16 year old product of Richmond Hill, Ontario is also in his first OJHL season. Least season Xu was a member of the U16 Toronto Jr. Canadiens where he put up a whopping 10 goals and 29 assists for 39 points in 37 games. Not only was Jacob Xu drafted drafted Round 8 #157 by Kitchener Rangers in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection, he was also selected drafted 6 #81 by Sioux Falls Stampede in the 2024 USHL Futures Draft.
Jacob Xu however decided to take his talents to the NCAA, signing with Harvard University beginning in the 2026-2027 season. The rookie sensation has 3 goals and 8 assists for 11 points in 22 games with Trenton.
