BRANTFORD, ON- The Brantford 99ers hit the road again tonight to visit the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex for the 2nd time this season to face off against the Oakville Blades.
Brantford is fresh off a tough 3-2 defeat last night in Caledon. Kyle Ferguson and Evin Kojokaro were the goal scorers for the 99ers. Brantford now hold an 8-14-0-1 record and still hold the 9th seed in the West.
Oakville on the other hand have not played a game since October 28th due to a strike with the city shutting down public buildings in Oakville including Sixteen Mile. During the strike, the Blades had no scheduled games on the road during the 3-week span, giving Oakville 21 days without a game.
While every team in the league has played at least 21 games or more, the Blades have played 16 total, and hold a 10-5-0-1 record. Luke Johnson leads the team with 23 in 15.
Newly acquired Josh Colosimo is set to make his 99ers debut this evening, wearing #72 temporarily.
