Preview- Brantford 99ers vs. Niagara Falls Canucks

BRANTFORD, ON- The Brantford 99ers are back at the Gretzky Centre for their last game of the year, hosting the Niagara Falls Canucks for the 1st time this season. This will be the 1st time that former 99er Taye Ladislao returns to Brantford.

The 99ers snapped their losing skid on Sunday, defeating the Caledon Admirals for the 2nd time this year by a score of 7-4. Evin Kojokaro scored a hat-trick to bring his goal count on the season to 23, and rookie sensation Artem Narbekov notched 2 goals and 2 assists to earn Player of the Game honours. Brantford sits at a 14-20-0-1 record with 29 points and just shy of a playoff spot.

Niagara Falls rides a 2 game win streak into tonights contest, defeating Caledon 3-2 and upsetting the top seed Collingwood Blues on home ice by the same score. Canucks goaltender Avery Alves stopped an astounding 49 of 51 shots to secure the teams victory over the Blues. Niagara Falls sit 8 points behind Brantford in the standings with a record of 10-22-0-1.
