KING, ON- The King Rebellion hit the road again for a Sunday early evening tilt against the Leamington Flyers.
Friday night proved to be a slight taste of revenge for the Rebellion as they took down last years CJHL champion Collingwood Blues by a score of 5-3. Owen Barfoot scored his first career OJHL goal, Simon Wang scored his first regular season goal, and Ben Armatage scored 2 to add to his impressive start to the season. Goaltender Carter Bickle secured the win for King, stopping 32 of 35 shots.
Leamington’s start to the season has been nothing short of impressive. Scoring an astounding 20 goals in their first 3 contests while only giving up 4, the Flyers head into tonight’s contest undefeated, and 6 players averaging over a point per game. Captain Adrian Bosev leads with 8.
The puck drops at 6:10pm at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre, and live on FloHockey.tv.
