BRANTFORD, ON- The Brantford 99ers are pleased to announce that we have acquired forward Spencer Vandenberg from the Markham Royals in exchange for a Player Development Fee.
The 2005 born native of Dorchester, Ontario has notched 3 assists in 10 games with the Royals. Prior to this season, Vandenberg played for the Jr. B St. Thomas Stars where he scored 10 goals and 25 assists for 35 points in 49 appearances.
Spencer played his U18 season with the the London Jr. Knights where he scored 20 points in 33 games. He will make his 99ers debut tonight in Buffalo, wearing #47.
